Announcement regarding the Mallards Bridge

"Mildenhall High Town Council is happy to announce that the Old Lock (Mallards) Bridge, which has been out of service for some time now, now has an expected date for a complete replacement of March 2021. The works are scheduled to begin in late January 2021.

The project is being conducted by Suffolk County Council as the owners of the bridge, but has been made possible by a donation from Mildenhall High Town Council who contributed £15,000 of the expected £155,000 cost and Barton Mills Parish Council who contributed £1,000."
